Brooch - pendant heksagonal flower series

This brooch- pendant is made by order for a customer.
She likes the results.

At first she order a brooch according main shape of Hexagonal flower bracelet, and it's not that hard to make and finished. A simple brooch with a diy small  savety pin behind. I use a swarovsky cristal for the center of flower. Swarovsky crystal is already known with the shine and durability, that's why i choose it.

But than I think something else, to make this brooch multifunction. Yes, I really think about my customer's satisfaction. She will feel glad if she can use this brooch also as pendant for another options of using.
So, this is finished results of the order.

Chain is hand made infinity glass bead chains 45 cm (17.8 inches) long, with front hook design

Bros/kalung heksagonal.

Pesanan awalnya adalah sebuah bros bunga, yang bentuknya diambil dari bagian utama gelang bunga heksagonal dan sudah jadi.
Sebuah bros bunga heksagonal biasa sederhana dengan peniti di belakangnya. Bagian hiasan tengahnya saya pakai kristal svarowsky 8mm yang sudah terkenal akan kilau dan ketahanannya.

Tapi kok kemudian saya merasa kok cuma bross, jadi bandul kalung kan juga bisa, multi fungsi. Dan jadilah design ini.

Panjang rantai 45 cm, dengan hook di depan dan infinity glass bead chains handmade.

Takes long time for me to think how I'd like to wrapp the stone because it"s unique square shape.
Things Become easier after found the best way to wrap that facet cut pink crystal.

Whole night meditation results. It's supposed to be braceled flower frame, but then I found that it's to big for it. I don't want to waste any materials, so I decide to make necklace from this wire.

Combine with egyptian coils as leaf shape, and hand made loop chain to make it perfect.

It's create for a friend who asked to make cooper wirewrapp jewelry from 2 facet cutting pink crystals,  bought her father when he visited Borneo. There are two pictures which are used as references to describe the results that she wants. The first is a dragonfly necklace pendant, and the second is a hexagonal flower bracelet with leather strap.

The first difficulty I faced was making a frame for a round facet cutting crystal that pinned in the middle of  flower. There were three attempts until I finally found the perfect shape I wanted. And finally be a bracelet like now.

Making hexagon flowers is not without struggle. In the first experiment, I made it too big, than I made the wrong meassured cut into a necklace project which actually became a set of my hexagonal flower jewelry. 

Details of HEXAGONAL FLOWER BRACELET :

• 1.2 mm (16 gauge) diameter of dead soft enameled cooper wire
• 0.8 mm diameter (20 gauge) diameter of dead soft enameled cooper wire
• 0.3 mm (28Gauge) diameter of dead soft enameled cooper wire
• Facet stone 15 mm (0.6 inch)
• Black crystal 4mm (0.15 inch)
• 6mm (0.2 inch) clear white crystal

This project starts just because I do wrong measurement. my First plan is to make "chain" part for my hexagonal bracelet, but when I attach it to the center part of the bracelet I realized that it's to short and also to small. yeah, I don't wanna waste any wire, so I create it become a pair of earrings wich is fit to be one set of my hexagonal flower collections. Total lenght of my earrings is 5.5 cm ( 2.2 inches)

Pesanan seorang teman yang minta dibuatkan perhiasan lilitan kawat tembaga dari 2 batu yang diasah faset. Batu batu tersebut berwarna pink dan dibelikan papanya waktu bertandang ke borneo. Ada dua bentuk yang dijadikan referensi gambaran hasil jadi yang dia inginkan. pertama bandul kalung berbentuk capung, dan yang kedua adalah gelang bunga heksagonal.

Kesulitan pertama yang saya hadapi adalah membuat frame untuk batu bulat yang nantinya disematkan di tengah-tengah bunga. Ada tiga kali percobaan yang bongkar pasang sampai akhirnya menemukan bentuk yang saya kehendaki. Dan akhirnya jadilah gelang yang seperti sekarang.

Membuat bunga heksagonalnya pun bukannya tanpa perjuangan. Pada percobaan pertama ternyata saya membuat terlalu besar, akhirnya kawat salah potong tersebut saya jadikan proyek kalung Yang justru menjadi set dari perhiasan bunga heksagonal buatan saya.
